Our vision
The ongoing digitalisation is presenting society with constantly changing challenges. Higher education institutions must equip their members (students, teaching staff, researchers and administrative staff) to successfully meet the new requirements this brings for their studies and day-to-day work. To this end, the project #Digitalkompetenz.nrw has developed a web-based resource to promote relevant digital skills. It offers university members a platform to identify, assess and develop their digital skills in a targeted manner.
Three core modules are offered:
- A skills-assessment tool to evaluate your own skills profile
- A course catalogue providing a comprehensive overview of information, further education and training opportunities in the field of digital skills
- A guide that links the results of the self-assessment with the options in the catalogue and serves as a targeted recommendation system
#Digitalkompetenz.nrw is a collaborative project funded by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and recommended by #DH.NRW. The project partners are the University of Bonn, Cologne University of Applied Sciences, Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences and RWTH Aachen University.
